Recent PTASP Workshops

FTA recently hosted virtual Bus Agency Safety Plan (ASP) Implementation Workshops to help participants plan and practice implementing elements of their ASPs. In these workshops, participants collaboratively explored ways to implement and assess Safety Management System processes described in their ASPs. The workshops were offered based on agency size to allow participants to share and discuss processes relevant to their agency type. 

The workshops were open to staff and contractors of recipients or subrecipients of Urbanized Area Formula Grant Program funds who are responsible for developing or implementing an ASP. State Department of Transportation staff that assist small public transportation providers within their States were also able to participate. FTA provided all materials electronically and there was no cost to attend.
