U.S. Transportation Secretary Foxx Announces TIGER Awards Nearly $500 Million in Grants to Projects Focused on Safety and Economic Opportunity

WASHINGTON – U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx announced today nearly $500 million will be made available for transportation projects across the country in the eighth round of the highly successful and competitive Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant program.
