The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) published the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Apportionments and Allocations and Program Notice in the Federal Register on February 16, 2016. This full Federal Register Notice can be found at https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2016-02-16/pdf/2016-02821.pdf.

Summary

This notice announces changes in the FTA programs in accordance with Federal public transportation law by the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, which authorizes surface transportation programs of the Department of Transportation (DOT) for Federal FYs 2016 through 2020. It also provides preliminary implementation instructions and guidance for the new and revised programs in FY 2016, announces the apportionment for programs and describes future plans for several discretionary programs.
