The Office of Operations and Program Management for the Region 10 Office in Seattle, Washington has an opening for a permanent full-time General Engineer GS-0801-13.

This position serves as a Regional Engineer and directly manages the regional Project Management Oversight Consultant Program which is engaged in detailed oversight of regional major construction projects and complex capital programs; consults and provides engineering and project management of a considerably specialized and innovative nature to senior staff, program managers, and grantees in the form of construction techniques, solutions to problems, innovations in procurement, etc. The Regional Engineer ensures that projects are properly designed and managed to achieve the approved purpose and are completed on schedule and within budget. They will also perform on-site reviews to inspect projects during the development stage and on-going construction.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to provide specialized financial assistance to grantees, program managers, and senior staff to resolve problems and to ensure successful delivery of the Federal funded projects.
