The National Center for Mobility Management wants to Highlight your Practices!
1) To help build and strengthen community transportation systems across the country, Easter Seals, on behalf of the National Center on Mobility Management is collecting information about coordinated transportation and mobility management practices. Transit agencies and community transportation providers are encouraged to complete a coordinated transportation profile. To help build the capacity of communities to implement coordinated transportation plans and mobility management practices, as appropriate, NCMM will share findings from these profiles. Thank you in advance for participating.
2) NCMM wants to learn about your mobility management practices!
The mission of the National Center for Mobility Management is to facilitate communities to adopt transportation strategies and mobility options that empower people to live independently, and advance health, economic vitality, self-sufficiency, and community. In doing so, NCMM is building mobility management community profiles, and our interest is in helping communities implement practices that hold the promise to enhance mobility options.
Has your community implemented a practice that has improved transportation? Please tell us about it by completing a practice description. We are especially interested in the impact this practice had in your community and the setting in which it was implemented. Information about the context and conditions under which the practice is implemented will assist other communities to make informed decisions about applying a particular practice within their own setting.
For more information on NCMM or for questions related to this search for practices, please contact Julie Rosekrans or Judy Shanley.
The National Center for Mobility Management is an initiative of the United We Ride program, and is supported through a cooperative agreement with the Federal Transit Administration.
