Incorrect Line Item Extended Budget Descriptions

The TrAMS Help Desk will make modifications to a specified number of active TEAM awards to correct default template language inserted to TEAM awards when FTA migrated information from TEAM to TrAMS. The default template language you see is: "This is an operating and planning assistance grant for 2000."

The Help Desk will remove the default template language and replace it with a generic explanation:

  • If the SCOPE CODE of the affected ALI is titled "PRJBUD," the ALI extended budget description will be changed to read "The PRJBUD Scope and ALI was created and added to support migration of this TEAM Scope Code and milestone information."
  • For all other ALIs, the ALI extended budget description will be changed to "This field was blank in the last approved award action."

The modification will be applied to all active awards that still show only the default template language. If the ALI extended budget description has since been revised, it will not be replaced – no correction or change will be made in this case. If the award contained the default template language, and has since been closed, it will also not be updated. You are encouraged to keep a copy of this notification in your award file for reference. There is no required action on the part of recipients.
