Can you advise us about grants funds that may exist for transit agencies, State DOT's or school districts to utilize mobile video surveillance systems?

FTA does not provide specific funding for video surveillance systems; however, such systems are eligible for purchase by recipient agencies using FTA grant funds. A recipient is a public or private entity to which FTA awards Federal assistance through a grant, cooperative agreement, or other agreement. The term also includes each member of a consortium, joint venture, team, or partnership awarded FTA assistance through one of the instruments listed above. There are currently in excess 600 recipients of FTA Federal assistance. (Posted: December, 2014)
