Contract Numbering System

Q. Where is information located on using PIIN identifiers or tracking numbers for acquisitions and contracts?

A. FTA has prescribed no numbering system for grantee third party contracts. The PIIN system was established to identify Federal contracts, and has no relevance to grantee contract awards.
