2021 Metrics

Contains metrics describing service consumption and service cost for each public transportation agency, by mode and type of service.

2021 Operating Expenses

Provides expenses to operate public transportation services for each agency,  by mode, and type of service operated. Divides expenses among NTD expense functions and object classes.

2021 Track and Roadway

Provides miles of track and roadway operated on by each public transportation agency, as well as count of special track elements.

Correction 9/14/23: Added 2020s column to Guideway Age Distribution tab. This also resulted in the addition of several records to this tab.

2021 Vehicles

Gives the age distribution and lifetime mileage of each agency's revenue fleets, and the age distribution of service fleets, by vehicle type. Gives vehicle count by type per agency.

2021 Employees

Contains data on hours worked by public transportation employees, head counts of employees, and wage rates.

2021 Service

Contains data on public transportation service operated, organized by agency, mode, and type of service.

2021 Funding Sources

Contains sources of revenue applied by each public transportation agency to operations and capital.

2021 Fuel and Energy

Contains data on fuel and energy use by public transportation agency, by mode and type of service.

Update 12/19/23: Version 1.1 contains updated values for diesel fuel consumed by NTD ID 50118 for Commuter Rail modes.
