Details:

Notice of Funding Opportunity for Mobility On Demand (MOD) Sandbox Demonstration Program. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of $8 Million for a new program to demonstrate and evaluate innovative approaches to integrated “Mobility on Demand” (MOD) solutions within a public transportation framework. The MOD Sandbox Demonstration Program is intended to provide a platform where integrated MOD concepts and solutions are supported and demonstrated through local partnerships in a real-world setting.

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of $19.98 million in Pilot Program for TOD Planning funding to support comprehensive planning associated with new fixed guideway and core capacity improvement projects that will seek funding through FTA’s Fixed Guideway Capital Investment Grants (CIG) Program. Additional appropriations may result in additional funding for proposals submitted under this notice.

The Passenger Ferry Grant Program - 2015 NOFA

Low or No Emission Vehicle Deployment Program (LoNo Program) - 2014 NOFA

Details:

01/09/2014. Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA): Solicitation of Project Proposals for the Low or No Emission Vehicle Deployment Program (LoNo) Program. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of $24.9 million of Fiscal Year 2013 funds for the deployment of low or no emission transit buses. Of that amount, $21.6 million is available for buses and $3.3 million is available for supporting facilities and related equipment.

National Rural Transportation Assistance Program: Solicitation for Proposals

Details: 

12/26/2013 The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is soliciting proposals under FTA’s Formula Grants for Rural Areas Program (49 U.S.C. 5311), to fund a National Rural Transportation Assistance Program (National RTAP). The FTA intends to fund the National RTAP at $1,794,903 for the first year, as authorized by the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), Pub. L. 112-141 (2012). Funding beyond the first year will depend upon (1) future appropriations and authorizations, and (2) annual performance reviews.
