FTA will deliver two offerings of the TAM for Tribes webinar this spring.

In June 2016, FTA published the Final Rule for Transit Asset Management (TAM), which requires FTA grantees to develop asset management plans for their public transportation assets. The TAM planning process is meant to help agencies establish a strategic and systematic process for operating, maintaining, and improving public transportation capital assets through their entire life cycle. The TAM for Tribes webinars will provide background information on TAM and outline the elements of TAM that are relevant to tribal transit agencies. The discussions that follow will focus on how tribes can begin implementing their own TAM programs, comply with the rule, and access useful technical assistance.
