The purpose of this guidance is to present standard procedures for a screening-level analysis of the full range of environmental resource topics likely to be considered in preparation for Categorical Exclusions (CE) [23 C.F.R. 771.118] for projects in the FTA Region VII states of Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and parts of Illinois.
