River Corridor/Blue Line Bus Rapid Transit Capital Investment Program Project Profiles: FY 2017
The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) proposes to implement bus rapid transit (BRT) in the fifteen-mile River Corridor that extends from South Albany at Kenwood Port to the Village of Waterford. The project includes 26 stations, limited stops, uniquely branded buses and stations, transit signal priority, queue bypass lanes, real-time bus arrival information and transit parking. The project’s current estimated capital cost is $35 million.
