The City of Huntsville (City) proposes to implement bus rapid transit (BRT) on an 8.9-mile corridor with 32 planned stations between Downtown Huntsville and the Village of Providence, running primarily on University Drive (U.S. Route 72). The project is being planned to serve several key employment and activity centers, including Huntsville Hospital, the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and the MidCity District.
