Social Media Toolkit: FTA FY24 Buses & Bus Facilities and Low or No Emission Grants

This toolkit was created by FTA to help transit agencies, stakeholders and elected officials at all levels promote the projects supported by Fiscal Year 2024 Buses & Bus Facilities and Low or No Emission (Low-No) grant programs.

FTA announced close to $1.5 billion for transit agencies to buy more than 1,100 American-made buses in 47 states. Of the 117 funded projects, about 80% will purchase buses that run on zero- or low-emission technology, reducing air pollution and helping meet President Biden's zero emissions goal by 2050. Nearly half of the bus projects will improve and modernize bus facilities, setting the stage for transit agencies to transition to new electric technologies.
