The City of Raleigh (City) proposes to implement a five (5) mile BRT between Downtown Raleigh and Purser Drive in the Town of Garner. The Project would include improvements such as transit signal priority (TSP) at signalized intersections, up to six (6) new weather protected BRT stations with branding, off-board fare payment, level vehicle boarding, real-time bus arrival information, and ADA accessibility. The sponsor also plans to purchase seven (7) compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to support bus operations in the corridor.
