Investing in America Signage
FTA is committed to transparency and accountability to the American public. Posting signs at transit construction sites both informs the public and increases transparency about federally supported infrastructure projects and where their tax dollars are being invested.
Thanks to recent legislation -- the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law -- federal support for the nation’s public transportation systems has significantly increased.
For transit construction projects funded in whole or in part by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law or American Rescue Plan, USDOT and FTA strongly encourages grant recipients to place sign(s) at construction sites that:
- Display the Investing in America logo
- Identify the project as a "project funded by President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law" or "project funded by President Biden's American Rescue Plan"
- Provide brief name of project in first line, e.g. 'Red Line Project' (optional)
- Are positioned to maximize visibility and be directly linked to the work taking place
- Are maintained in good condition throughout the construction period
Sign Templates
Below are downloadable, print-ready PDF files of signs. Select the appropriate sign (based on which law is funding the project) and your agency's preferred background color (blue or white).
A Photoshop template is also provided that can be customized to include the logo of a partner organization. All customized signs must follow the Investing in America Brand Guidelines.
