Americans With Disabilities Act: Proposed Circular Amendment 2

Notice of availability of additional proposed circular chapters; extension of comment period.

The FTA is extending the period for submitting comments on Amendment 2 of the proposed ADA circular. The notice of availability of additional proposed circular chapters and request for comments was published on November 12, 2014 (79 FR 67234 [PDF]). The original comment period is set to close on January 12, 2015.

The extension is being implemented based on concerns that the January 12 closing date does not provide sufficient time to review and provide comprehensive comments on the proposed circular chapters. The FTA recognizes that others interested in commenting may have similar concerns and agrees that the comment period should be extended. Therefore, FTA is extending the comment period for an additional 30 days, to close on February 11, 2015, which will provide those interested in commenting additional time to discuss, evaluate, and submit responses to the docket.

You may submit comments to Docket No. FTA–2014–0024 by any of the following methods:
