Dear Mr. Hale:
Thank you for your response to the Federal Transit Administration's (FT A) letter and preliminary report of findings of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Review conducted from January 31-February 2, 2012 of Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART). Enclosed is the final report that incorporates HART's official response, submitted on April19, 2012.
Thank you for the steps HART has taken to correct and implement its EEO requirements. We are confident that HART will take the necessary steps to correct the outstanding deficiencies in the areas of Dissemination, Designation of Personnel Responsibility, and Assessment of Employment Practices.
All corrective actions must be submitted no later than 90 days from the date of this letter. Once we have reviewed your submission, we will request clarification or additional corrective action, or we will close out the finding if HART's response sufficiently addresses the FTA EEO Circular's requirements.
