Re: EEO Compliance Review of King County DOT - Final Report

Dear Mr. Taniguchi:

Thank you for the cooperation that you and your staff provided during the EEO Compliance Review, conducted from October 27-29, 2009 of the King County Department of Transportation (King County DOT), and your subsequent efforts to respond to the deficiencies identified during the site visit. We are pleased with the progress you have made in responding to the findings of the

Review as presented in your submissions to FT A and the Review team prior to the issuance of this report. It appears that King County DOT has taken positive steps to improve its EEO program by correcting the deficiencies in the areas of Policy Statement, Dissemination and Designation of Personnel Responsibility. There are no outstanding deficiencies. The Final Report will be posted along with other final compliance reviews on the PTA website.

Should you have any questions about the enclosed report, please contact Ms. Anita Heard at (202) 493-0318 or at her email address, Anita.Heard@dot.gov.

Sincerely,

Linda Ford
