Thank you for your response to the Federal Transit Administration's (PTA) letter and preliminary report of findings of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Review conducted from June 27-29, 2011 of the Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Rail Corporation (known as Metra). Enclosed is the final report that incorporates Metra's official response, submitted on October 18,2011.
We appreciate the efforts taken by Metra since the site visit, and we are confident that SCMTD will take steps to correct the deficiency in the areas of Designation of Personnel Responsibility.
All corrective actions must be closed within 120 days of the date of this letter. To assure FT A has the opportunity to review and comment on the corrective actions, please submit responses, no later than April4, 2012. Once we have reviewed your submission, we will either request clarification or additional corrective action, or will close out the finding if your response sufficiently addresses the FT A EEO Circular's requirements.
