The FTA issued Safety Bulletin 19-02 to State Safety Oversight Agencies (SSOAs) and Rail Transit Agencies (RTAs) to inform them of a safety hazard associated with rail transit between-car barriers (BCBs) and to encourage SSOAs and RTAs to review this hazard and the assocaited risk.
