2022 | Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility 2023 - 2026 Strategic Plan Webinar | On November 30, 2022, FTA hosted a webinar for the public to learn about the Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM)'s 2023-2026 CCAM Strategic Plan, resource commitments, and next steps for implementation. The webinar was intended for CCAM stakeholders interested in improving transportation coordination, including state and local government entities, national organizations and associations, and agencies that represent CCAM grantees or receive grant funding from a CCAM agency. |

2020 | Incidental Uses of Transportation for COVID-19 Vaccination Access | The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped how we get around, and even the places we are going to. At the height of the pandemic, the National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) was focused on assembling information on what organizations around the country were doing to keep their communities safe and cared for to share with mobility managers and transportation professionals across the country. This NCMM COVID-19 Resource Center provides innovative strategies transit agencies, community organizations, and government agencies undertook and continue to use. |
2020 | Partnerships for Equitable Pandemic Response and Recovery | The COVID-19 pandemic had a disproportionate impact on historically marginalized communities. As transit agencies build toward recovery and rethink or reimagine their operations, they might consider grounding their decision-making in equity principles. The Transit Cooperative Research Program identified how transit agencies were able to quickly pivot during the pandemic to deploy resources for other temporary "incidental uses" and respond to the need for essential services. Through these incidental uses of vehicles and facilities, public transit agencies across the country kept workers actively employed while expanding equitable access in unprecedented ways. |
2019 | CCAM Meeting Pre-Brief Webinar | In 2019, the CCAM convened for a logistics meeting prior to the adoption of the 2019 - 2022 CCAM Strategic Plan. |
2018 | CCAM State and Local Focus Groups Overview | DOT conducted a series of focus groups, on behalf of the CCAM, with State and local stakeholders in 2018 to further inform and refine the Council's response to these requirements. Through a combination of virtual focus groups, in-person focus groups and interviews, and industry listening sessions, DOT engaged more than 200 stakeholders across 22 states. Sessions included funding recipients of seven CCAM agencies. As part of this effort, the CCAM published the following relevant resources: Focus Group Report, Executive Summary, and Summary Presentation. |
2018 | CCAM Strategic Plan 2019 - 2022 | The CCAM adopted the 2019 - 2022 CCAM Strategic Plan, Mobility for All, in October 2019 to guide its work to improve access to jobs, healthcare, education, and community services through better access to transportation. The CCAM Strategic Plan establishes a common mission and vision, defines priorities, and outlines four key strategic goals that enable the CCAM to respond to FAST Act requirements, build on past accomplishments, and deliver on its mission. |

2017 | FTA-funded Rides to Wellness Community Scan Project | The Health Outreach Partners 2017 report, Transportation and Health Access: Rides to Wellness Community Scan Project, describes the scope of the problem of transportation barriers and its financial impact due to missed appointments. Based on a national survey with health centers, findings show no-show rates ranging from 11-30%, but that the reasons for missed appointments are not being tracked. By addressing transportation barriers, there is greater potential for financial benefits for health centers. The report also includes six profiles of communities who are taking action to address barriers and decrease loss of revenue. |
2015 | FTA Rides to Wellness Initiative | The CCAM advanced coordinated transportation through the Rides to Wellness program. |
2005 - 2023 | ROSA P Resources (Search for CCAM-relevant resources using the phrase "United We Ride") | The National Transportation Library's Repository and Open Science Access Portal (NTL ROSA P) offers full-text digital publications, datasets, and other resources. The repository is also designated as the full-text repository for USDOT-funded research under the USDOT Public Access Plan. ROSA P houses historic CCAM documents including United We Ride resources. |
