Valley Metro has committed to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase heat resiliency in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.  The Valley Metro Sustainability Plan provides a baseline analysis of the transit system, a greenhouse gas inventory of Valley Metro's fleet and operations, and a framework of strategies to support regional sustainability goals of lowering GHG emissions and adapting to extreme heat.
