TSO Spotlight Feb-March 2020 Issue

This issue includes information on FTA’s coronavirus policies and frequently asked questions, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) reminder letters to State DOT Secretaries and transit agencies, funding opportunities of $9.3 million for innovative projects to improve rail transit and bus operator safety, and random drug and alcohol testing rates for calendar year 2020.

Additionally, the issue promotes newly available resources, including lessons learned from voluntary agency safety plan reviews, and understanding the agency safety plan review, approval, and certification process. This issue also includes a new "Data Spotlight" feature with a focus on transit vehicle speed and collisions; upcoming PTASP Webinars, and speaking events; available safety training; and more.
