This document provides an overview of the Colorado Department of Transportation's  (CDOT) Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for Transit Buses Demonstration Project. The project goals include improving public transit safety and reliability, reducing congestion and greenhouse gas emissions, promoting economic vitality in rural areas, and providing workforce support through a deeper understanding and practical application of ADAS.
