This report presents the results of an independent evaluation of a Los Angeles County and Puget Sound demonstration project that tested the application of first/last-mile transportation network company access to mainline public transit systems at selected stations, as part of FTA’s Mobility on Demand Sandbox Program. The evaluation explored 13 hypotheses related to mobility, accessibility, public transit ridership, fuel consumption, safety, costs, and lessons learned.
