This report provides information on Vehicle Assist and Automation (VAA) systems aimed to demonstrate the technical merits and feasibility of VAA applications in bus service. VAA systems enable lane-keeping and precision docking of transit vehicles and offer the opportunity to provide high-quality transit service within reduced lane widths.The demonstration project was carried out through design, development, deployment, and operational tests.
