Valley Metro proposes a 1.4-mile light rail extension project (Project) in downtown Phoenix consisting of a single-track, one-way loop along Washington Street, Adams Street, 19th Avenue, and Jefferson Street with three split-platform stations. The Project will include a transfer point to the rest of the light rail system via the South Central/ Downtown Hub Light Rail Extension project currently under construction.
