Guide for Reportable Safety or Security Event: A safety or security event occurring on transit right-of-way, in a transit revenue facility, in a transit maintenance facility, or involving a transit revenue vehicle. Excludes occupational safety events occurring in administrative buildings.


Alaska and Commuter rail modes report only SECURITY events that meet a Major event reporting threshold.
